4-Hands Classes (Adult + Child)

Want to take a class with your young chef? In our 4-Hands classes, you can work side by side and learn to make all kinds of dishes TOGETHER! We offer the same classes as the 2-Hands classes, so you can pick the one that your young chef hasn’t taken and embark on a culinary adventure as a team. Make homemade food to fill your tummies and memories that last a lifetime.
(All classes are for 1 Adult + 1 Young Chef Ages 5-16 depending on the class)

*This class is offered only during school breaks and some Sundays when scheduling permits. Breakfast is the MOST important meal of the day! Make it a priority for you and your young chef by getting creative in our learning kitchen. Our chef will guide the class step by step through each recipe and then let you and your young chef take the reins as you prepare breakfast for a meal. Learn to make Huevos Rancheros, Breakfast Quesadillas, Roasted Salsa

Do you and your young chef LOVE chocolate?? Is this cocoa-filled class, you and your young chef can learn the proper way to melt and work with chocolate using high quality ingredients. Working in pairs to create beautiful chocolate confections, all of your chocolately wishes will come true. Learn to make Sand Roses, Nutella Truffles, Chocolate Lava Cakes, and a Chocolate Bowl for ice cream!

Please Note: You will only taste the desserts in this class and take home their leftovers. A full meal is not eaten.

Let’s get cupcake crazy with the basics of baking!!! In this class, you and your young chef will be whipping up some Chocolate and Vanilla Variations of cupcakes with different fillings and toppings ALONG with savory cupcakes they can eat for a meal!  You will learn how to properly follow recipe directions, how to fill a piping bag along with decorating techniques. Learn to make Vanilla Cupcakes, Devil’s Food Cupcakes, Cream Cheese Buttercream, Chocolate Buttercream, Simple Buttercream, Lasagna Cupcakes, and Bacon & Cheese Cupcakes.
Please Note: Each participant will make at least 3 sweet cupcakes and 2 savory cupcakes plus enough to take home leftovers.


4H DIY PASTA

Once you eat delicious homemade FRESH pasta- it’s hard to go back to dried pasta. It has a bite and texture that can only be achieved by making the perfect pasta dough- which we will teach you and your young chef in this class! We will make fillings and sauces from scratch along with pasta dough to create different ravioli and pasta shapes. Go home with several meals and the recipes. Learn how to make Semolina Pasta Dough, Ravioli Fillings: Creamy Lemon Basil, Butternut Squash And Sage, Ricotta & Spinach, Four Cheese & More. Sauces: Beef Ragù and Sage Brown Butter. Eat some of your creations in class and take the others home to enjoy!

Mix up the dinner routine and get your young chef excited about helping with meals at home. In this class, you and your young chef will work together on knife skills, time management, recipe execution, and teamwork. The participants will prepare a balanced meal from scratch and then enjoy it together. Learn to make Breaded chicken with tzatziki dipping sauce, Potatoes dauphine, and tiramisu.

baguettes4H ROLLIN’ IN THE DOUGH

In this class, you and your young chef will learn to make traditional French baguettes, dinner rolls with various toppings, homemade flatbread pizzas, and fruit pizza for dessert from our in-house puff pastry dough. Now you can participate with your young chef in The French Kitchen fun with this kid-friendly version of Blandine’s very popular Bread Class. Each participant will leave with 2 baguettes and leftovers.

food truck 14H STREET EATS

As food trucks gain popularity around the country, we would like to introduce this class where you and your young chef can prepare and eat a variety of food truck-inspired bites! We are packing a lot of flavor in different recipes and encouraging you to be more creative and adventurous. In this fast-paced class, participants will work individually on some of the dishes and as a team on others. Learn to make Cajun Egg Rolls, Indian Aloo Tikki Cakes, Croque Madames, Thai Lettuce Wraps, French Hot Dogs, and fun desserts!

4H ENGLISH TOFFEE
