Job Title: Café Attendant

Job Category: Cashier/Server/Barista

Location: 4771 North Academy Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80918

Level/Salary Range: $9.50/hour- 20 hour minimum

Position Type: Part-time including weekends

  • Take customer orders at the counter
  • Receive payments, enter into POS and present correct change to customers
  • Pack food items, prepare coffee, and fill beverage cups
  • Function as Barista
  • Register clients for cooking classes
  • Ability to achieve high customer satisfaction rating, especially during rush hours
  • Manage the register, including all credit card and cash operations
  • Ensure a balance of the register at the end of the shift or working period
  • Greet guests, answers questions, makes suggestions regarding food, drinks, boutique items and service
  • Interact with all guests creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere
  • Wipe down tables, clean floors and chairs in service area when needed
  • Empty trash, tray racks and keep up with dishes
  • Support other staff and take initiative.


  • Must have restaurant or food service experience
  • Ability to learn Point of Sales system
  • Mobility required during the entire shift, including walking and standing- ability to stand 8+ hours
  • Ability to carry up to 30 pounds
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Must be able speak/read/write in English

  • Barista experience is a plus
  • ServSafe certified is a plus
  • Knowledge of French Food is a plus
